EUROBAT Statement on energy crisis

Stability of energy supply and affordable energy cost are essential for the European battery industry.

The current uncertainties of the supply situation and the recent price hikes for energy jeopardize the efforts of the battery industry to support the energy transition by providing storage solutions for various applications.

In line with the European Commission RePowerEU to make Europe independent from fossil fuels well before 2030, we request the support of all European governments to ensure affordable energy prices for the battery industry.
