Strong speakers line-up confirmed at EUROBAT Forum 2019

to deliver keynote speech in Berlin

 

Ahead of the EUROBAT Forum conference of June14th in Berlin, the association is pleased to confirm the strong line-up of speakers, as well as programme and timing.

2019 is a key year for the EU and for the European battery industry. On 26 May, Europe will elect a new European Parliament and a new Commission will start working beginning November of this year. In the next years, the new European institutions will work on key policy files related to batteries: Battery Directive, End-of-Life Vehicles Directive, eco-design for batteries and REACH.

The EUROBAT Forum - taking alternatively place in Brussels and another European- will indeed discuss the above upcoming policy developments and possible impacts on battery manufacturers and suppliers.

The audience typically consists of policy-makers, research institutes, analysts, NGO’s, Energy Storage companies and media.

 

 

 

 

The programme comprises this year the following three sessions:

  • Decarbonisation of energy and mobility systems and batteries as key enabler.
  • Global macro-economic environment and Europe after the elections.
  • Sustainability of batteries
