For the past 26 years, the Cobalt Institute (CI) has organized the only major cobalt conference annually: THE COBALT CONFERENCE which takes place in the spring and in different countries each year between North America, Europe and Asia.

The 27th Cobalt Conference 2020 will take place in Madrid (Spain) from 9-10 September. In this edition, the core theme of the conference is ‘The Role of Cobalt in the Energy Transition’. The focus of the programme will be on the various practical and technical aspects related to the influential part that cobalt plays in enabling a true energy transition. In Madrid and for the first time, The Cobalt Conference is planning to organize poster sessions which will be held during networking breaks between the conference sessions.

The Cobalt Conference is the only event worldwide that brings the entire cobalt industry sector together. During the last 26 years, the audience has included a wide range of stakeholders from mining, refining, manufacturing and recycling companies to analysts, downstream users, trading and investing participants, among numerous others.

Registration fees are GBP 500.00 for institute members and GBP 600.00 for non-members; registration will open later this year.
