EUROBAT Part of the Advisory Board of ELVA Project

The ELVA Project (Advanced Electric Vehicle Architectures) just received green light in terms of funding from the EU Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7).

The Consortium Project gathers companies such as Renault, Continental, FIAT, Volkswagen, SAFER, IKA and Applus IDIADA. 

EUROBAT will be part of the Advisory Board, together with other industry associations like EUCAR (car makers), CLEPA (car part makers), EAA (aluminum), EARPA (automotive research partners), PlasticsEurope, ESTEP (European Steel Technology Platform).

The aim of the project is development of three detailed vehicle concepts and to undertake the respective qualitative assessment exercises. The first meeting of the Advisory Board will take place in Brussels on 14 December 2010.
