17th International Lead Conference

The 17th International Lead Conference, Pb2011, will be held in the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, Lisbon, Portugal, on 21-23 September 2011. This Conference will continue the series which started in London in 1962, and which has since been held at venues in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Hungary.

This year's event will focus on:

• Best industry practice in responsible care and sustainability
• New technology and its role in managing risks in the production and use of lead
• The drivers for health and environmental legislation and their likely future direction
• Trends, threats and opportunities in the global lead market, in particular those arising from the increasing desire for more low emission vehicles
